I just had my house appraised and learn some cool things about our neighborhood.
The Mission only lost 10% of its value compared to other neighborhoods and places in this city and around the country which lost 30-50% during the BUSH CRASH Sept 08'
We of The Mission have not only regained that 10% but are now making more money... this explains why during these hard times every block around me is putting into new polished condos and building new restaurants and boutiques as if money was being picked from trees. I hope this levels out so it is not a bubble but sustainable and I hope it doesn't drive out the long standing renters.
So lets here for the profitability of Socialist Liberal San Francisco's original and still Spanish speaking neighborhood!
